The New Scott Emergency Services Building

Fire Chief Chad Sonnier announces that the City of Scott's fire rating has been upgraded from Class 4 to Public Protection Class 3 at the Grand Opening of the City of Scott Emergency Services building. The Chief shares that of over 400,000 fire departments, nationwide, only 2,662 ranked a Class 3 or better.
Police Chief Chad Leger, former Mayor Hazel Myers, former Governor Kathleeen Blanco, Mayor Purvis Morrison, Fire Chief Chad Sonnier and Scott Volunteer Fire Department Board Chairman Troy Bergeron cut the ribbon for the new City of Scott Emergency Services building before over 200 citizens and dignitaries gathered for the event.
